Working in confined spaces is nothing new to Belger

When two 17,000-pound chillers needed to be squeezed through a 10-foot wide access shaft, experienced Belger crews were able to lower the units to the basement of a government office building without disturbing the electrical cables and copper piping that lined the shaft. After disassembly and removal of the old chillers, a 22-ton Link-Belt All Terrain Crane and special rigging were used to lower the ends of the chillers at different speeds onto skates to clear the basement ceiling.
